The youth ministry of USBLA was previously known as United Sangtam Baptist Youth Endeavour (USBYE). This ministry is also considered as the backbone of the USBLA mission in doing ministry. It is an offspring of Christian Endeavour and Sunday school ministry. Ever since the dawn of USBLA ministry, many passionate young adults were evangelized and converted to Christianity. Out of many, there were some devoted believers who are willing to take on youth ministry and when USBLA entered its twentieth years of existence in the year 1966.
A separate youth ministry with a nomenclature “Christian endeavour” was officially formed in the year 1966. Mr. Nungsangtoshi, a humble servant of God was send to USBLA as a Youth Promoter by the Mapungchuket Baptist Church of Ao Baptist Church Association. He served for one year from 1966 -1967 as Youth promoter. It was in the year 1972 the nomenclature was changed to “Christian Youth Front” which lasted till 1998. And in the year 1998 with the approval from the USBLA Executive Committee, the nomenclature was changed to “United Sangtam Baptist Youth Endeavour”. The USBLA youth ministry survived under the theme, “His Witnesses” since 1981 till date. In retrospection, the youth ministry is grateful to God for sending 13 different servants of God appointed to guard the ministry throughout its 59 years.
